AVOID THIS PLACE- Owner Gene sold me a policy and when I called him with a question he said- "I don't understand insurances or deal with customers" and passed me off to his office staff. The entire place just has an edge to it like YOU are a problem. Rude, dismissive, entitled. I left this miserable agency and they took the cancelation request from my new agent and basically threw it in the trash and now I am dealing with a collections agency. Erie wants me to pay THEM and my new insurance company at the same time because Ziemba REFUSED to cancel my policy until it was forced upon them months later. AVOID THIS PLACE its a money grab. Update-I canceled my insurance policy on August 15, 2025 I was sent to collections and finally today February 11th they canceled my insurance and issued

The owner is wild and rude to his customers. Yelling at times.

Really enjoyed my time with Gene discussing my options on insuring my truck. I had complicated circumstances with my situation but Gene navigated my issues easily and with confidence. I bought my policy with your company, not because you gave the best deal to me, but because of the ease and thoroughness of Gene’s conversation with me I was won over to believe I have the best representation of coverage in the future should I need it! Thank you for your patience and helping me understand exactly what I got with my policy and treating me like a family member and not just another customer that you had no time for!

Gene Ziemba is a great guy and the staff is fantastic. We’re insured with Erie who has great products and pricing. Given the client relationship we have and the experience with the company I’m sure we’ll never shop for another agent. These guys are true professionals and great people.
