Tufts Health Plan

After so many calls to Tufts, and pass the automatic response, I found and excellent lady that took care of my mom needs and was the best customer service ever. You could hear it in her voice the desire to help. Her name is Temi. I wish Tufts would have many Temis!!!! Senior Care Options. I would give 5 stars to Temi all day, Tufts not so much because of the hard time that I had to go through to talk to a representative.

DONT DO IT! Ths company is AGAINST senior citizens, I have health insurance & have been without my medication for months, the only reason I haven’t canceled is I am close to hospitalization due to no medication but come January this company is gone if I aren’t yet, for months they have denied my cholesterol infusions Lequi so now my cholesterol is near heart attack level, for months they have denied my inhaler, not the cheap quick one but the one that keeps me breathing all day & night, I will be put on oxygen next visit according to my pulmonologists, there is no reason to kill seniors since we’re on our way out anyway, all we ask is to make us comfortable until the day comes but this company is getting paid to watch you suffer in your old age, my doctors have submitted the claims over 5

I am new to this plan. I have Tufts Direct. I've now had my PCP dropped from coverage for them. I'm trying to find a new one. The TUFTS webs sites, list of doctors that take the plan etc. is completely out of date. It's a joke. How can you not keep up to date the doctors that take your plan? This should be a priority. I'm calling people that have said we have asked them several times to correct it for months with no change. I'm still trying to find a doctor and huge percentage of the doctors that are supposed to take their plan and are accepting patients are not. I'm really disappointed at this point.

Insurance is a scam. People pay all of this money a month for what? You only allow one Pap smear every 3 years. Can somebody please explain to me how this makes sense? Now that I’ve waited my 3 years I have to have surgery to have something removed off of my ovary. And let me guess more co pays on top of it?? Anything to make more money. You people are sick.

I have NO PCP! I signed up for Tufts Gold Direct 5 months ago. My wife and I have both been on the phone with them over a dozen times. Tufts gives a list of providers, we call them, they tell us they don't take Tufts. This is the way it plays out every time. They charge us $1693.02 EVERY MONTH. We have spent $8461.10 and over 40hrs of our time but have received 0 care. I have serious medical conditions that require treatment. THIS IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. BEWARE!!
