Troy Baker: Allstate Insurance

I had auto insurance with Allstate for more than 30 years. When I finally got off my butt and got a quote from Geico it was $1,000's of dollars less per year for the same exact insurance. When I called to cancel my policy I was told that they would have to cancel my Umbrella policy as well, since you had to have Auto to have an Umbrella. Months later I get a bill for the Umbrella policy as they did not cancel it when I cancelled my Auto policy. Interesting that they lied when they said you couldn't have the Umbrella without the Auto. I won't pay it and they sent it to a collection company. When I called, Troy has an attitude and tells me there is nothing he can do, that I should call Allstate directly and ask for the recorded call to see what happened. Troy Bakers office is always quick to respond to any questions and they always review my change in a vehicle thoroughly to make sure I am getting the best price for coverage. I have been with them since I moved here almost 20 years ago and never once have thought of leaving. It is a great office to work with.

Yeny just wasted 2 weeks of my time with taking DAYS to respond to emails/texts/etc. I would think twice before using them for a quote, especially if you are in a tight time crunch! She was also very confrontational and tried to place blame on me for her shortcomings. I will definitely make sure that I let everyone I know in SW FL to NOT use Tony Baker's office!

We recently had a difficult trip to Portland Oregon, where Allstate rose up to help us with a rental vehicle. Their staff was quick to respond, very professional, and comforting.
