Prices for insurance are high, regardless of company. My car insurance went up 14 percent for this 6 month period, my father's 20 percent (no change in driving habits, etc ) and this is typical every year for the last few years. When I spoke to an Allstate rep, she agreed with me and told me the local agency doesn't have control of pricing, that the upper management/corporate does at national level and that my sentiment probably wouldn't get to who needs to know. So that begs the question, why am I paying you (locally), another middle man? I don't have the answer to fix the pricing but don't expect a good review either. Most everyone's income doesn't go up 15 percent annually... ridiculous.
