Spirit Insurance Services, Inc.: Allstate Insurance

I used Spirit insurance for my entire life until now. In Feb 2024 they increased my policy from $146 to $275. Today they just billed me $610 without notice. My deductible is $1,000. My car is a 2014 Subaru Outback with 180k miles on it. Do the math. $610 charged 10/12 months = $6,100. If I need to make a single claim, that puts my annual expense to insurance at $7,100. According to KBB, my car is worth $4,500-$7,200. This is my last month needing full coverage, so I think they just wanted to maximize their money before I switch back to liability. This is how they treated a life long customer. Good luck being new.

Service on board was great n so was the price, I just needed a lil more elbow room.otherwise the trip was great

Don't do business with these people. They had me waiting on the phone for a good 30mins just to revise my policy. They tell you one thing then they switch there story to a different thing. Took my money and i asked for a refund because i was getting charged extra, and they said they can't because it was out of there hands. So they basically credited me for the last months bill. After my policy is over, i will definely be going elsewhere.

Don’t get any insurance with Allstate at all , and in case you do don’t deal with the agency/broker …after 22 years of being a loyal customer ,1 car accident happened and then you realize how unprofessional these people are …please for you sanity don’t do business with them
