When I first agreed to go with this company for renters insurance I thought I was making a really good choice up until I was being charged $50 and the actual insurance was only $12 they took $50 from my acct for a returned payment and idk what else they try justifying over charging me but from $12 to $50 that’s just in heard of!! The local State Farm office personnel are very helpful, but I can't say the same for the corporate response if you finally need to make a home insurance claim. I live in an HOA neighborhood of small homes that have the same codes for roofing, and are the same age. We have had several wind and hail storms in the 10 years I have been in my home, but I had never made a claim for this home or previous homes covered by State Farm, until this month. Although several of my neighbors had insurance companies that covered the hail damage to their roofs, I was warned that State Farm was the worst company to have in making a claim.
