NEGATIVE 5 stars! they are the worst! I have been getting NON PAYMENT notices sporadically for approx. 2 years. I have my payment set up thru my back for 16 years and they are telling me i have not made payments. So, i have to take my time to call them and get them to straighten out things at their end. NOW they are telling me I don't have a CASH value after 16 years of payments.....THEY ARE THE WORST

I had a policy with this company for 10 years at a reasonable price. I just got a letter saying that it's going to be more than triple that price now. Now they want almost $11,000 a year for a 500k policy. 🤦 That's ridiculous, and a terrible thing to do to a good customer. This leaves me scrambling to find a new policy. Buyer beware! 🫤 Update, I was told my policy was canceled September 15th, and on September 30th they attempted to take another payment. After speaking on the phone with the customer service just now, All he wanted to do was argue and tell me I was wrong even though I had my bank statement and proof in front of me. I told them you tried to take it again, he says no, I said... it's right in front of me, you're lying! They didn't get the payment because I called the bank and

Not reliable and not respectful of customers. After 22 years, suddenly I get a rate increase of $170. No information about why. Reliastar is handled by Voya Financial. Try to reach anyone. Wait times of over 1-hour. Today 01/16/24 had a wait time of 20-minutes. "Casey" asked the perfunctory questions, and when I said I was calling to speak with an actual representative who could explain the exorbitant rate increase, "Casey" hung up on me. I will be moving my policy to Pacific Life at lower rate. Thanks for nothing Reliastar and Voya Financial.

Company does not payout! Would not accept checks if any type from bank. No return address on mailingbstatment. In short screwedmy mother who is 76 and paid them for decades on time. I can go on but this review if factual and have the documents to prove it. Do not use them. Or any of the companies that own them! You will get no answers on the phone. Full compant is in the process of being filed with Ohio insurance commission.

The life insurance policy I have paid into with VOYA for over 20 years (now owned by Reliastar NY) was recently canceled when I moved and my mail was lost. I've tried to contact Reliastar for MONTHS, I emailed documents for reinstatement, and have had zero response. Disconnections when I call and am on hold for literally hours - and no call-backs when I tried the 'auto-call back line'. This is horrific. Should i drop dead tomorrow - my kids have nothing. I don't want to give them even one star - but it's the only way to post feedback.
