Progressive Insurance - Claims Office

This has been the absolute worst claims experience ever. I honestly don't recall having had many issues filing claims with any other car insurance company. It is usually a pretty seamless process in my experience. Don't walk, run away from this company. They have implemented a 100% automated claims process that is full of questions that cannot capture nuance and therefore will lengthen and confuse your process. The people there to "help" are extremely rude and robotic. I have no idea how they must be treated to be so empty and I wonder why they are even there. They recant what the app says and will not show any compassion for frustration with a truly horrible application. They literally have no purpose to even have humans if they don't act human. This is for progressive overall not this location. I would leave this review on their website but it won’t let me. Progressive is a scam and will scam you out of money. Make sure you check your monthly payments if you have insurance with them. They added my cousins kid on my policy and wouldn’t remove him which added $300 a month. Literal scammers in insurance form. Would give me a refund either when I cancelled my policy. Will NEVER use progressive ever again.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I've used Progressive for over 20 years. Make sure you call them every few months and have an agent review your policy. They will increase your premium even if you have accidents/violations dropping off in the next 35 days. These are technically "un-chargeable" according to them but they will charge you anyway unless you call. Their bundle rate was 2x higher than several other carriers. Many agents are argumentative and rude. Their ethics is questionable at best. 0/10 do not recommend.

The customer service department do not know how to speak to customers without an attitude. They read a script instead of using their voice to assist the customers, sounding very robotic. They do not help with extension of payments to your auto policies They could care less about you as an individual.

Awful company. Added people to my policy who I do not know and have never lived with. Charged me $$$ for these unauthorized changes. AND when someone ran a stop sign and hit me in an intersection (not at fault and on camera) they refused subrogation and recovery of my expenses.
