James River Group represents itself to shareholders and clients as an organization defined by "underwriting discipline" and "operational excellence," yet my experience suggests a significant gap between corporate rhetoric and execution. Initial communication was clear, including an explicit promise of a status update within 5–7 business days prior to the holiday break. The company subsequently failed to meet this deadline and moved to complete non-communication. For investors monitoring the firm’s recent 2025 restructuring and re-domicile to Delaware, this failure in a basic, time-bound commitment is a notable red flag. Frauds, after a year of insurance with them they came after us asking for an additional 150% of the previous paid fees for the year that was ended and increased our new policy by 300%. We want to litigate if they send it to collection, if you’re a company that has been wronged by them we’re open to a joint litigation, contact me. We’re done letting bullies get away.

The only reason for rating one star is because it is the minimum rating, you may consider this a Zero. I never had to deal with such an unprofessional, disrespectful and impolite company. I had an incident at my home community where the security bar broke down and caused significant damage to my car. Unfortunately, James River Insurance is who my complex has their insurance through. My adjuster is Edwin Duncan, who has been nothing but discourteous and unaccommodating to the point where he raised his voice in an angry manner during a phone conversation, not to mention he hung up the phone call, and left me talking by myself. When you ride with Uber, you ride with James River Innsurance Company! And that, consumers, is a dangerous thing! I had, what I thought would be a very small claim. Therefore, not needing to retain an attorney. My daughter and I were passengers in an Uber in May 2019. It was a rainy night in Washington DC. The Uber driver collided with an Inmovable object. And kept going. All he said was say, sorry about that. My daughter and I were jostled around from the impact. The next day, we both went to the emergency room for back and neck pains. We reported the incident right away to Uber. They did contact us promptly. But that was the end of the story! I was hit by an uber driver while waiting for the green light @ an intersection. The driver admitted fault and have processed the claim, however, their agents and call center employees are deflective in their comments and really make you chase them to get what you need. They only operate on their business hours which is typically a small window for anyone who is working a typical 9-5. I have been hung up on several times trying to get some assistance to get my vehicle fixed. By far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. This company must be avoided at ALL COSTS.
