If I could give this place ZERO stars I would. I am new to CA and went through the process with Covered CA to get insurance. I landed on Health Net because both my providers showed as in-network. So I took the steps and got all signed up. Once signed up I was told one of my providers was NOT in network, but could set up a Single Case Agreement so I could still see my provider. We took those steps only to get the response that it was not needed because my provider is, in fact, in network. Now every single month, my providers' claims have been denied with the reason showing as out of network. So every month, I have to call the health plan and explain to a new person every time what is going on. I have even double-teamed with my provider to get down to the bottom of it. Very unprofessional and unhelpful customer service! HealthNet, please hire US based customer service agents. I am beyond frustrated because every time that I call, a foreign person who barely speaks English takes my call, and I can barely understand what they're saying. This is not helpful at all and very frustrating when you're trying to get help or to make changes to your insurance plan in order to get much needed medical care. Please hire professional customer service agents who have been properly trained and can actually help your members.

This review is specifically for Health Net Dental customer service. I called today, April 2, 2025 during the afternoon. The lady who answered the phone was obviously working from home, which I have nothing against. However, one must be professional when working from home. I could hear a child crying at first, then a loud tv and kids playing in the background. She was very unfriendly, rude, unprofessional, and rushing through the call.

So far so good transferred to their insurance group and they have been very helpful and always answer all my questions and will go out the way to help me with any issue I have am glad I switched over.
