Countryway Insurance Company

Great company and always responsive! Reading many negative reviews but as someone who works in the insurance industry- I prefer dealing with a smaller company like Countryway. Blame is being placed on a company when it seems most of the issues arise from the agent. They are offering competitive rates but are only able to do so if you fit in their niche. All and all they are a wonderful company with great employees who are willing to help answer any questions and competitive rates.

My husband has tried making payments 3 times and they will tell us that the payment went through but then we get a late notice bill in the mail with a $25 late fee. Every late bill has also had a deadline that is dated only 2-3 days from when it was post marked so we already missed it by the time it gets delivered.

I posted one week ago some concerns about this company. I called the claims department as they suggested. They were NOT helpful at all!! I was rear ended by their client Feb. 21, 2025 and as of today April 1, 2025 I am still having problems. No one is returning my calls. I even have tried to contact a supervisor. NO LUCK!!!!

Awful, dropped me without a call, text, but a letter they didn't print until after they dropped me. Why would they do this? My wife bought a nearly new car, raising the premium, I made one payment of 50%, forgot the other half. I'm guilty of forgetting. What's interesting is my truck and her old car were paid in full for the balance of the year, yet they still canceled them, not just the new car. This will cost us over $1,000 in fines from the state. These fine folks also insure my farm, paid for the year, that business is leaving them ASAP. Absolute garbage company. They call and text other things, bit not ooh hey you need to make a payment.

After being rear ended by one of their policy holders. The communication with this company has been VERY POOR. I have left numerous phone messages on different days with the agent I am dealing with and she is not getting back to me. I am considering legal action.
