Called “member services” to ask why I was logged out of my HSA account which was connected to BBA and read the claims. Spoke to two people who just absolutely would not listen to me. If they did they would’ve been easily been able to tell me that thier patient portal’s name changed to JointHealth which would reflect why I was logged out of the connection on the HSA site. As soon as I said HSA they stopped listening and did not want to help. Insane waste of time.They could’ve helped, but no.

Their insurance explanation of benefits states: 100% of out of network emergency ambulance coverage. In practice, they only pay up to their contracted amount and no more so you will get balanced bill. Paying $1500 out of pocket doesn't sound like 100% out of network coverage to me and there is nothing in the fine print to clarify this.

I wish I could give zero stars…. I’ve been trying to talk to someone for days. I’m on hold for well over 20 min then get a notification that “due to high call volume we cannot take your call. Please call back later” then I’m hung up on. I’ve called different times of day and same thing. I should be able to reach my insurance company with no problem.

I understand this is an insurance company and people usually have negative feelings about medical insurance, but I have to say my personal experience has been nothing but positive. We got my daughter through cancer and the only thing we had to pay was our deductible and co-pays and they were very responsive with everything.

If I could give zero stars I would. I was on hold 2 hrs and 12 mins a representative picked up and gave her my inquiry she put me on hold for 13 mins call was dropped. Absolute waste of time.
