DO NOT USE Wiser Insurance Agency! Wiser Insurance Agency just cost me $825! It took them nearly two months to underwrite my new homeowner’s policy, which started three days after my renewal date. My old policy was canceled two days late, triggering a 25% early cancellation fee—something any broker should anticipate. If Wiser can be this careless and cost a client money, I’d strongly suggest finding another agency. BEWARE! Wiser’s reply although inaccurate, and I can prove it, does not change the fact that they disregarded the possibility of the cancellation charge. Not once did they mention it. Not once did they offer me the option of renewing my existing policy then switching to their policy in 90 days. Wiser claims that if they knew of my renewal date that would have warned me. Untrue
