Beware of Unum. This company will find every possible way to deny claims submitted by your dentist’s office, resulting in loss to dentist or more often than not, large patient out of pocket expenses. Seek other dental and vision insurance options and stay away Unum.

If I could give them negative stars I would. This is the worst company to get insurance from I would find a new dental policy but I had this policy almost three years where the best of my benefits start to apply. They are doing the most to cancel my policy since January because it's no longer available. I basically have to force they to take my payment. *The most horrible customer Service representative ever. Jewell and Sharon need to be retrain or not work in Customer service.

Would have given even less of a score of possible. Been a loyal customer for over 4 years, never miss a payment yet when my card gets cancelled due to fraud they drop my plan. Then when I call back they deny me being able to even buy another plan because it is now discontinued. This company, they are in sympathetic and do not care about you, only about your money.

Terrible customer service!!!! The representatives they hire have horrendous attitudes, lazy and arrogant! I filed a complaint with Better Business Bureau, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the Departments of Insurance in the state of Mississippi about how they double charge customers. If you have insurance with them, watch your Explanation of Benefits. I had Dental/Vision with them on draft and they took out the money twice. When you get work done on your teeth they don't want to pay what they are supposed to pay.
