I've been a customer for decades but the last few years I've found them to be unhelpful, they don't answer the phone, they take their time calling you back, occasionally rude, and they generally are NOT looking out for the customer. I reviewed my business policy after noticing the premiums had been creeping up at a rate of about 10% a year for a few years and looked through the new year's policy and noticed that several changes in coverage I had requested months, even over a year ago had not been made, so I had been paying insurance on equipment and services no longer a part of my business. Then I checked prices for the same policy I was paying $9,300 for from 3 other carriers through a different agent and found that all three were between $5,700 - $6,300, which is around what my policy

We’ve been with United for years. I called and was set to voicemail of a agent waited 10 days with no response. Sent a email with a message that I expect to hear back next business day another 3 weeks with mo response. Shopping for a new company. Can no longer recommend

I'm very happy with my homeowners policy from United Insurance. My agent was very efficient and easy to work with. I was very pleased with the policy and cost. I rarely call but when I do the office is very attentive and it never takes more than one call to address my need or concern.

Have been a customer for 15 years with multiple properties residential and commercial. I have been waiting 2 weeks for "Erin" to call me back about adding another property. Left message after message and nothing. No time to waste with them any longer. I cant do business with folks who cant even take 5 minutes to call me back. I will be canceling my other policies with them.
