Travelers

I have been with this company for 2 years and just received an email last week saying they are not renewing my Home insurance due to paint peeling on the fascia of my house and unregistered vehicles on my property. There are no unregistered vehicles on my property. The fascia does have some paint peeling but if that is all it takes to get dropped by this insurance company then I would rather switch to a better company anyway. I have brand new Siding with sofit and fascia sitting in my garage waiting for the contractor to come and install it. Plus the fascia is in the same shape as it was when they inspected it 2 years ago when they wrote and sold me the policy and never said anything about it. There are other companies out there willing to do business with me if that's the way you want it.

I did not do my research when I bought Travelers Ins. ,I trusted my agent. It only took a few weeks before they raised my rates and threatened to cancel me unless I emptied a trailer with construction material that I am storing as I rebuild from a tornado and remove a car from my property that I am slowly trying to restore. My original options were store it in a garage which I would have to build because my existing garage is my workshop for repairing my house. If you would like to out source an HOA for just "your" property with no benefits, then that is the only way to consider Travelers Ins. AKA " Travelers HOA". Someone with Travelers auto insurance hit the SIDE of my car. This is NOT a BBB accredited company for a reason. They deny claims that are straightforward and are a dishonest company.

20+ years customer. No claims. Never late or missed a payment. I sent all the information they asked for (twice). Received a letter they did not receive the information timely and was canceling. Very disappointed.

Worst is a mild term for this company. I had them for my business for 24 years. I had no claims until my state was hit by a derecho. Travelers "claim professional" came out with a bad beside manner and stated the less than 2000.00 dollars I would need to repair my building would not happen. A couple of bolts and screws would be fine. Think twice about this company. There are others that will have your back!
