Absolute worst company I’ve ever dealt with is travelers insurance! I have zero tickets, zero accidents, zero DUIs, not even a parking ticket! Threatening letter after threatening letter, notice of cancellation! From what I hear 80% of the premium goes to the agent. A total of 8000 miles on my car in two years. Yes 4000 miles a year! There is no peace in your life when you get letters like this in the mail when you’ve paid perfectly. Avoid travelers insurance at all costs!

If you can qualify as an applicant you won't find a better company to be insured with. I could go on and on about my few experiences when I needed my auto insurance but Travelers always come through. From Customer Service to Claims to Billing Issues these guys have it down to a science. And most importantly their rate has consistently been the best rate or very competitive. At least enough to not bother to change when you consider the service you know you'll get. Going on 10 years now as a policyholder.

I just wanted to pay my bill, which I couldn't do online because I had cancelled as I had found similar insurance, elsewhere. I never heard of a company that I practically had to beg to take my money for amount owed. With that said though, they are very over priced for insurance and very difficult to work with.

We’ve had this insurance for the last 5 years, best insurance company we’ve ever had. We’ve had the price drop 3 times, I’ve never had a price drop with any other company, also it’s a simple process to get a teen discount for good grades and the driver course. My daughters car was hit while parked in a parking lot, we went through the other persons insurance for the claim, they were moving slow so contacted travelers, told them we didn’t want to file a claim through them because of it possibly increasing our rates. They still contacted the other insurance company on our behalf to make them speed up the process, and they reached back out to me a few times to be sure the other company was staying in touch with us. What other company would do that?

While being repaired at a repair shop, my car was vandalized at the repair shop. The shop’s insurance is Travelers. The entire process of working with Travelers was horrific. Every employee I spoke with was rude and condescending. I was the victim of a crime and they were completely careless and unsympathetic. They weren’t helpful. Follow up emails went ignored. Completely unorganized and unprofessional. They did not pay for the extension on my rental vehicle as previously agreed upon without me making numerous phone calls and sending numerous emails. When they called to report that my vehicle was deemed irreparable they were extremely rude and short with me when I asked questions. Communication was extremely delayed. I would never recommend Travelers to anyone after this experience. Adam
