This company turned down our claim against a man who failed one county inspection, one paid inspection with pages of code violations. A LLR fine for failure to comply with LLR RULES. A DEHAC fine for installing a septic system not to code or having DEHAC lic. So if you are bad at construction and can't get a surety bond call this company. DO NOT use this company if you are a contractor!! My business, which hasn't had a single claim, lawsuit or any CSLB action in 18 years of business, was horribly represented by Miguel Moreno when a fraudulent claim was filed against me. My first phone call to him was answered by an openly hostile Moreno who seemed to sympathize with the scammer before hearing anything from me. Very disturbing. Their "expert" consultant, Guardian group, charged me $1300 for one 11 minute phone call after meeting with the claimant at his house for hours. Miguel doesn't return phone calls or emails and apparently doesn't bother to read the multitude of contradictory statements that were obvious lies. This Company is a fraud, do not buy any insurance from them. I bought this insurance before going on vacation in order to have a peace of mind in case of an emergency. I had a minor medical emergency and upon my return I submitted my claim. I had to do it 3 times because they never had record of my submitted claim despite I had a received confirmation from them . On my last claim submission they stated it would take 30 days for the review of my claim. After 62 days my case is still under review and they stated they need another 10 business day to have the Escalation Department to review my case. This Company should be investigated by the Insurance Depatment

I would highly suggest using another company. I will get into more detail if needed. I can even show the entire case here, if needed. I have every detail from day one. They seem to be very biased in the complainant’s favor, even if the project was completed to perfection and the client signed a detailed completion certificate with the county for financing. As in our case, the complainant’s own pictures proved it was perfect when we finished. We do Artificial grass. There are no codes at all in our business. The state only mandates a 1 year warrantee in landscaping. This case was denied by the contractors license board Over two years ago.
