The Sarmiento Agency: Allstate Insurance

I absolutely love the Sarmiento Agency! The customer service is excellent — everyone is friendly, reliable, and always helpful when I have questions. I truly appreciate that the entire staff is bilingual — hablan español, which makes communication so easy. Everything is incredibly convenient, and I can handle what I need with just a phone call. Highly recommend!

DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL — PLEASE READ! I’m extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism and communication from this company. I had Allstate for a while, and it was always a struggle to get in touch with anyone. Don’t expect them to answer when you need them the most. To make matters worse, my sister—who also had a policy with them—had her credit ruined and a bill sent to collections for only $82.28 without any prior notice or explanation. In today’s world, where we receive constant emails, phone calls, and paper statements, it’s unbelievable that they couldn’t reach out before damaging someone’s credit. Getting a response from anyone on their team is nearly impossible, and that has been my experience as well. The balance has since been paid, but the damage is already done. N

I always liked Allstate, but recently they haven’t been my favorite insurance company, their price are always going up. This agency the Sarmiento are awful at customer service. They are so inefficient. They don’t ever answer the phone. You always have to leave a voicemail. I DON’T RECOMMEND THEM!!! Look somewhere else but not them.

After years and years of being a customer for home and Auto, for some reason, their processing does not process an auto payment from a savings account that has been active and paid this very auto bill for years. I get a voicemail on December 2 saying that I have seven days to collect two payments or my policy will lapse. I call them and explain to them the issue. They acknowledge multiple years of payments with no issues. Yet They refused to waive my $25 late fee even though the payment was processed successfully when I asked them to retry. The “ owner” of this operation said she could only refer me to the billing departments. I hope this review helps someone else avoid terrible customer service and loyalty. You’re just paying Allstate corporate. Don’t pretend this agency will be an advoca
