Sonder Health Plans

I'm a renal patient on dialysis 3 days a week. My transportation has been cancelled 1 to 2 days of the 3 days a week I'm supposed to be there. Since this is my life line to say it's upsetting to miss appointments is a gross understatement. I joined this plan once my agent told me about the transportation assistance. Prior to joining Sonder I had gone through a lot of my savings paying for rides out of pocket for months because my very life is dependent on it. However those rides are very expensive in excess of $300 plus per ride times 3 days. I was grateful and thankful for this plan until the system failed for me. I don't usually write negative posts but I don't want this to happen to anyone to else who is needing a renal plan. Wanda

I am so pleased to have Sonder as my Medicare Advantage plan. Since becoming eligible for Medicare, I have enrolled in Aetna, Humana and UHC AARP advantage plans and left each of them because of hidden costs, incorrect information from their customer care people and basic lack of attention to my concerns. I waited 3 years for a hip replacement because of co-pay costs for X-rays, excessive cost for other treatments, and because one company procrastinated on approval of my physician's onsite surgical center for almost a year - a site that was approved by Medicare and all the other Advantage companies. Sonder treats their subscribers as humans, not just a source of income.

I was very happy with my services with Sonder until this past Friday when I was informed that I have to find other insurance. I was not informed in a timely fashion and feel it is downright disrespectful and discourteous. I didn't have until the end of the month to use everything that I was entitled to. Bad form Sonder. I hope my new insurance carrier is better. Don't get me wrong, it was one of the better or even the best insurance company that I have belonged with. ~~~Disappointed 😞😥

I agree that if you could give a 0 it'd need one. My oldest was told about this insurance. She has a chronic illness and was told sonder would be like a supplemental insurance and she actually didn't "need" to use it and current Benefits wouldn't be affected. She was told about the gas 300 bucks worth on a card to be used at select gas stations and about 800 to be used at walmarts and other select stores I believe there were pharmaceutical Benefits over the counter etc Long story short sonder replaces her Benefits and sonder is nor accepted by most of her specialty doctors or regular doctors. She's in pain a lot and can't even see her pain management doctor. I advised her to research it and I did not have a good feeling about it...and I'd advise people to see which doctors accept it ,h

There needs to be a zero. The is the worse health insurance I have seen, I do billing for a family practice and we cannot get our claims paid. We finally got some paid through Feb and this is July. They also are bad about denying active polices as termed. I don't believe they will be around long. Hold times are extremely long when you call. I am holding now and have been holding for 45 minutes/
