Worst most unprofessional healthcare organization. No matter after three changes for a primary physician, not a single one met me in person, spoke to me directly, and despite very specific messages for the doctor on the awful scfh portal, I still never could receive help. Medi CAL should stop funding this lousy organization. Worst doctors and even during serious gout attacks and I contacted him for a prescription renewal I was unable to get a response. They simply don’t care.

EDITED AGAIN: Honestly, the past few days I have received some of the best customer service I’ve ever seen in the USA. They pick up their lines very quickly When I call them (I’m confused why some of the other reviews say they wait on hold for a long time; I’ve never faced that) When someone says they are going to call you back, they do. They do their best to be accommodating of your situation. All the customer service representatives have been lovely. They deserve every star of those five stars given. EDIT: I’d like to update my review because someone reached out to me from the insurance: A lady named Claudia called me today and was extremely kind and helpful and made sure that I was cleared at the hospital I was set to deliver at. Scam scam scam please go out of network or use financial assistance in another hospital. These people don’t cover anything I got a bill from a hospital that they refused to pay for not right

I have been a member since 2023. While I often face several issues with VHP network or Medi-cal services not related to SCFHP, the representatives of Santa Clara Family Health Plan (SCFHP) truly stand out. SCFHP reps are consistently dedicated to their work and wholeheartedly assist members. Although there sometimes can be long hold times, once they answer your call, they make every effort to resolve your issues as quickly as possible. They truly are angels when it comes to providing support.

I'd like to say thank you to Melissa who spoke to me last week and took the time to really listen and help me with my questions and concerns. She even called me again later to follow up and assure the answer to a question that she had took the time to double check on. I was getting push back from my doctor's office which was really frustrating me, but Melissa immediately made me feel 100 times better with her calm and caring demeanor. So thankful to her!
