Allstate customer for over 35 yrs, auto and homeowner. Took defensive driving course in September 2025. Called agency when i got the certificate later that month. They gave me e mail address to sent it to which i did. I confirmed the address with the agent. Didn't hear anything for a while but last time I did this it took a while to get a refund. Now new coverage period. Has not been applied. Call again and they don't have it. I send it again and it gets applied to new period. Call to see why the other discounts are now reduced after application of the defensive driving, which seems like a scam. They will get back to me and also informed me that the email address they gave me was not a good one. I did not get a notice that this was not delivered. But informed me they cannot apply discount

36 years my family has been with the Romano agency and Allstate. 36 years Missy and the Romano agency has collected commissions off the premiums my family pays. Yet 0 advocacy and support when it matters most - during a claim! They will purposely misadvise you to suit their interest. When you express your dissatisfaction there is 0 attempt at client retention or problem solving. This agency should be ashamed. Stay far away from this agency AND Allstate.

Wow what a group of rude people how freaking inappropriate. All I wanted to do was inform them that I wasn't planning on renewing my policy it turned into them demanding closing statements from my apartment and forwarding addresses and all sorts of other stuff. You are entitled to none of that. I can't believe I did business with you as long as I did. Run to another insurance agency.
