I had home insurance through them for years. (I suspect the VP of a local bank here suggested them to the family member I purchased the house with - I lived out of town at the time.) Anyway, I was never impressed with them. Never felt they really cared about my coverage, nor were they ever very helpful to me. I left messages that were never returned. When my agent was out of the office for an extended period, no one else stepped up to help me. When my insurance company went under & left me w/out coverage, while RGV did notify me of this impending event, they could recommend no alternative companies where I could obtain coverage. (I don’t recall them even presenting Citizens as an option.) This was when I finally left them & went to checked w/my auto insurance provider, Waterhouse on Apala

However, since making the move to RGV we have increased our coverage and are also saving several thousands annually. Jonathan Romero is a true gem! Customer service has gone DOWNHILL. We've been waiting MONTHS for a quote only to find 3 days before insurance expires that we cannot renew. My employees are now scrambling looking for coverage because of the POOR customer service we received from this agency. Shame on Rogers Gunter Vaughn Insurance. :(
