This is absolutely the worst insurance company you can ever use. My wife and I have never missed a payment on our mortgage our car payment or our insurance. We have excellent driving records and excellent credit. They canceled our auto insurance because we called and inquired about a potential claim. We never filed. We simply called and asked the question and we got a letter that they will not renew our insurance. When I called, they were rude and incredibly ignorant. I recommend any company other than this company. Absolutely horrible customer service and absolutely horrible business practices. They canceled after two claims they said. After losing my vehicle to the Milwaukee floods, the entire process—from filing the claim, coordinating the rental car, clear communication, and ultimately receiving the settlement check—was incredibly smooth and stress-free. He kept me updated daily, answered all my questions promptly, and ensured that every step of the process moved forward without delay. Trying to file a claim. Customer service closed, been on hold with " after hours customer service" for 90 minutes. Claim that it is a 24/7 service. Looking at your website, and it says "often available" It is 6:30 0n a Friday night. Rockford is not worth it, with this kind of NO SERVICE.

If I could give zero stars I would, we have had homeowner's insurance with Rockford since 2015 with no claims until now. We had wind and hail damage, I submitted a claim. It wall all down hill from there. They said the adjustor would contact me within 24 hours, it took 2 weeks and he called at 9 pm on a Saturday night. I of course, didnt answer but returned his call only to receive a text message that stated he would call me later. Waited another 2 weeks and called him back, we set up a time to meet and I told I would not be home on a specific date so we scheduled for a date the next week. He showed up at my house on the date I had told him not to. Then when he called me about the claim he proceeded to call me a moron and become very aggressive with me. very condescending attitude.

I called Thursday afternoon to file a claim on our roof for hail damage. Friday morning I had a independent adjuster at my house. The following Tuesday I received a check in the mail. Thats fast, courteous service!
