Luis at State Farm was amazing to work with when looking at options for insuring my retired school bus. He made the entire process very educational and easy to understand, and he went above and beyond to advocate for me with underwriting when we ran into vehicle classification issues. He also speaks Spanish (habla español), which made communication even more comfortable and accessible. He is genuine and incredibly supportive — I highly recommend working with Luis!

He left no stone unturned when it came to giving me the information that I needed to understand stand the works, and coverage of each policy (car and home owners insurance). After my Tesla Model Y was hit while parked. I needed to arrange for a car for 4-5 weeks for repairs. Corporate State Farm claims told me I could get a Tesla as a rental since that’s what I drive. A month ago, Enterprise asked State farm for confirmation before they would order the Tesla from elsewhere for when I would pick it up. They received approval. When I arrived at Enterprise they needed new approval. When I called State Farm they told me they would only pay for a mid size SUV, not a Tesla. When I signed up for insurance with RT Shaw, Luis who works there, told me he would advocate on our behalf if needed. Cindy at that office answered when I called the number Luis gave me. I am moving to Washington state and got a good quote for car and home insurance. I also got two Beacons for the cars. It has an app that allows me to see a driving score in nearly real time. I have been driving 750 miles one way between the old and new house every month or so. Having the beacon has made me more aware of my driving habits and I have slowed down, watching my acceleration, my braking and cornering since I got them. My scores are all in excess of 94 out of 100. I don't feel that the beacons make driving more stressfull or make trips take excessive time. I was just told that I will get a $140 rate reduction due to my driving scores. That makes it worth it and I am driving safer, more aware of my driving habits.

I had a great experience working with Josh! He was very helpful and got me started with a short term disability policy. Definitely recommend this office and will continue working with Josh for other services in the future.
