Quest Abstract Corporation

The buyer of our house used this company as their deed and title transfer. The office is very basic but their agent was nice enough. My major geipe, however, is that our bank never processed the Loan Payoff - after two weeks when we found out our mortgage payment was "due", we had to track down this company to find out where the money was. They finally found out the wire transfer was rejected by our bank (no reason given) - but they made no attempt to contact either us, the buyer, our agents, or our bank.

At settlement, they seemed very nice and accommodating. My sale involved an estate, which required them to retain a portion of my monies. I have emailed them numerous times, called and left several messages. I have a dead line for them to pay the remainder of taxes and have not heard back from them.. Along with them still holding a large amount of my money.

Do not let any buyer use this company when buying your house. I had a judgement that I proved was dismissed and Quest still hasnt returned my money in escrow after three months. They also recorded deed wrong and want me to pay for it. Having Pa Attorney General get involved. Dont use them and you wont have this problem!

The owner was very patient and helped us sort out all the paper work for buying a house by owner. Will def go to them again when we buy our next house.
