QualChoice Health Insurance

I am currently undergoing chemotherapy for recurrent cancer and was scheduled to begin my third and final round of treatment. After already completing two rounds, QualChoice denied coverage for the final portion of my prescribed medication. We pay $600 per month for this insurance. In return, we've experienced dismissive customer service and a denial of cancer treatment. No patient should have to fight their insurance company while they are trying to survive - especially not when the treatment plan was already in progress.

I do not normally leave reviews, but I just had a great experience over the phone with Erica! I had been back and forth with a few different representatives over getting coverage for a medication I have been on for years and suddenly was not covered. Erica went above and beyond to make sure I received the help I needed. When the call was over, I was finally able to pick up my medication I had been working on getting for over 2 weeks. So thankful for her help!

QualChoice is a great insurance company. I have been insured with them for 15 years and will continue to use them until I am old enough for Medicare. When I was ready to stop smoking, case management was there for me offering Resources for further support. She called me every week to a answer questions and offer support and encouragement. The only negative is the change in drug coverages. I have chronic diseases and they deny prescriptions. I have to pay full price out of pocket or do without .

As a provider, it was great to work with QualChoice. Thank you Liz for helping resolve a claims issue. She was prompt, communicated well throughout the entire process, and made things right quickly. QualChoice is a great company to work with.

Being insured with Qualchoice has been a great experience all around but their customer service, especially Krissy, is second to none. I had a issue with billing with my dr office, they gave me the runaround. I called in and got Krissy and then was able to leave the issue in her capable hands. She got dr office straight on billing and called me back as soon as she was done to give the news that all was good now. I truly appreciate all the customer service personnel and have never had a bad experience in all the years I've used them.
