Pyramid Insurance - Maui

Worst insurance broker ever. My agent Nalani Cagasan has not called back, after leaving three messages from abroad +2 messages from my boyfriend +2 emails. I’m coming home from my journey and don’t have a fire or a hurricane Insurance. I’m pretty freaked out. When I left, we agreed upon a new insurance, I gave her my credit card information and photos of the house as requested and she didn’t follow through. I’m coming back to this situation with no insurance in fire and hurricane season. I don’t know what to do anymore! When I called Pyramid Insurance and requested a different agent they said nobody else is taking new people on so what am I gonna do? I still haven’t heard back even if I called the agency twice…

Unreliable insurance company that is unorganized and does not offer good payment methods. Over the last 3 years my business has maintained 3 separate policies with them. They are not efficient at providing documentation, responding to request, receiving and documenting payments and clearly communicating with their customers. There is no way of logging in and viewing policies without contacting them and waiting for responses. Payment methods are out of date and require repeated request for online payment methods for them to actually send a link. My policies have been canceled even after timely payments were made as they did not document the payments at all. I would strongly recommend not working with Pyramid insurance. They do not double check the policies on your behalf and they do

Pyramid Insurance on Maui is the best. We worked with Jaxson Stinger and he got us two good homeowners insurance quotes with excellent coverage. We were in a time crunch and Jaxson came through in record time. Highly recommended.

We have worked with Eileen Fisher at Pyramid in Kahului for years. We own a small business and she has been an expert insurance agent! She not only knows her stuff, she makes sure all of our insurance needs are taken care of properly! That's hard to find these days. She is so responsive and reliable. My dad, who is disabled and dying of cancer wanted to remove a car from the policy. A car that he doesn't have anymore. They would not let him remove the car without mailing documentation that he can't mail because he's bed-ridden. Unhelpful customer service. A true pyramidscheme, there is no escape. If zero stars were possible we would give it. Avoid, and shame on you.
