Absolutely terrible insurance company it took them almost a month after the accident to get me in a rental car. On top of that my original adjuster just left and they never informed me or assigned me a new adjuster until had to call corporate to get a new one. They did a terrible job communicating with the shop which caused the shop to be 3 weeks behind on the work due to the fact they weren’t even sure if I was coming in to do he repairs because my adjuster promised she would call them right after she got off the phone with me I only found out she never contacted them at the end of that week when the shop called me informing me she never called them all week. Even after I was finally able to get it into the shop it took over another week for the assessor to actually go look at the damage
Horrible do not get insurance through them, my son had an accident. They did not cover absolutely anything but covered the other Peoples vehicle and for their injuries, they were not Hurt at all. They even said they weren’t. My son got hurt hit on his side and got absolutely NOTHING and his whole car was totaled and ProgressiveRefuses to pay anything to us and we also had full coverage The accident was from Weather related and my son had to go to the hospital and an ambulance glad that he was OK hand safe but Iwill never go back through Progressive again.!!
I set up my insurance policy in June for my motorcycle. I was told the automatic payments would be taken out. They were never taken out as I was told over the phone when speaking to a supervisor named Ray it was verified that I was told they were automatically going to be taken out. All I was told was well sorry we sent you a couple notifications, but I can just waive the late fee, but you can’t keep your policy for your motorcycle. One done there I had to waste 30 minutes of my time renewing my coverage for my motorcycle because Progressive messed up And now I’m going to have to pay for insurance From my bank who has the loan on my bike, the insurance was only for 20 or 30 days but it’s the principle of now I have to pay for that insurance from my bank for that time. This was THE WORST insurance company to go through! I paid my policy in full. Had them cancel my previous coverage, And then 3 months later get a cancellation notice of $1000 more! Was with Geico for 2+ years, so they supposably needed a statement from Geico from. 22 till present. Do they not realize companies only send out 6 month policies? Try calling Geico and get a "special paper" written up stating I was with them for the whole time is what they told me. How about you try calling into GEICO as a non customer anymore and tell me how that works out for you? What a ridiculous freaking insurance company. If you have someone local, go through them! It will save all this bullshit from happening!
Progressive has become a terrible company to try and deal with! Late last year I had to go through this whole thing with them where they were going to cancel my policy if I didn't send them my roommates car insurance information to prove they weren't using mine for my car. It was completely inappropriate in my opinion. They required it to include how much he paid for his insurance and a lot of other information that wasn't their business. I've had my insurance through them since I started driving and have never filed a claim where someone else was driving my car. Today I received another email about the same thing. They were asking about his mother's car and saying she lived with us. She doesn't even live in the same state as us. I don't know what is going on but it appears they're just
