Horrible company. I am going on six weeks just trying roll over a 401k. Excuse after excuse. First claim there was a 45 day wait from last day employment but can’t document and with all the reviews concerning crazy delays thinking was not really a wait period just an excuse for slow service. They also found a little under 500 in a Roth IRA I never authorized. That was supposed be dispersed but over a week later they claim still be figuring taxes. This is 2024 don’t you have computers!!!!!! They make that so easy enter data it gives that to you. In short your company move’s retirement plan here don’t participate just do on your own. If your looking for a place to invest run away from here as they are grossly incompetent

Closed my account after leaving previous employment. I was told it would take 5-10 days for them to process closing my account. 3 months later I still have not received my money, but Principal has done absolutely nothing to make any headway or even give me an honest answer. I was told they needed date of separation from my employer but they had not received it. I have an email from my employer with date of separation that was sent to them. Every time I talk to these people I am given a different answer. I cannot stress enough, do not use this company for anything, they want to keep your money and make sure you don’t get it. This should be criminal.

They didn't process my distribution rollover correctly causing a simple rollover to take over 2 months long.

Fund have not been sold after promising it would take a couple day. How many so far now...it been 2 months

If they say they’re open till 5 o’clock they should answer the damn phone is at 4:35
