PetPartners Pet Insurance

I am reading the reviews and it is pretty obvious that this place is a scam. I submitted two claims and these guys confused my vet even. They create fake Dx that do not exist and they ignore my vet as well. My vet provided all blood work and evidence showing the dx they made up is wrong and they don't make corrections. They even refuse to speak with me and my vet. It all has to be emails they don't even read. I didn't realize medical fraud for pets was legal. I do encourage people to stay away.

We have had AKC Insurance through Pet partners since November of 2021. It takes some getting used to how Pet Insurance works and pays. We can say that our experience has been top notch. We have CompanionCare with a few add-ons and it runs us $1800 per year for 2 dogs. There is no lifetime maximum. Most basic stuff is not covered but you can buy up for that in your plan. Our dog at 3 years old developed IVDD. The cost of the surgery and follow-up care ran nearly $20,000. Within 2 weeks we had been reimbursed 80% of the cost. Without Insurance I don't think we could have paid for the surgery. We have had broken claw nails, possible obstructions, Allergy meds and anal gland expressions to name a few covered at 80% routinely. This is our first time buying pet insurance and we will ALWAY

Signed up for pet insurance through my employer. It's a scam, scam, scam insurance. Pet Partners insurance did not cover any bill of my pet or another coworkers pet. My employer is a very big group and has over 20,000 employees, when our HR offered this to us we did not even think of looking for reviews of Pet Partners insurance because we thought employers like our should have done due diligence before offering to employees. We are told we can't even cancel Pet Partners insurance till next year. I hope groups like our employer are not getting any kick back. Employers like ours should not be doing any business with a scam company like Pet Partners Insurance. I will be posting a bad review of Pet Partners insurance if my pet claim is denied or till our group HR finds a better pet insurance

My cat passed away due to a kidney injury. The adjuster denied our 8k claim by declaring a condition he never had. Had they not put me through to a supervisor who reimbursed our grievances, we would have went to court. Scam. Don’t do it.

Delaying Tactics for payment and final denial of claim Signed up for Pet Insurance through my Employer. I choose Accident and Illnes Insurance. My dog had a anal glanz infection and later Breast cancer for a total of like $800 dollars. After months of delaying tactics and constantly asking for medical records even when i gave the the Animal Hospital address and detailed bill they finally denied the claim saying the Anal glanz is an exception to there policy and the breast cancer must have been there before i got thew insurance. I involved HR Department from my company and there have been several incidents with delaying until the consumer gives up bothering. This insurance is not worth the time and or money. Bad Insurance.
