Pemberton Insurance

I had a very disappointing experience with Pemberton Insurance Agency while renting a U-Haul. Derek, the person handling our reservation, was extremely unprofessional from the start. He canceled our original reservation for no valid reason and created another one instead causing unnecessary confusion and delays. Worse still, despite our plan to return the vehicle in the town we were relocating to, Derek forced us to return it to the pickup location. He claimed his system wouldn’t allow a drop-off elsewhere, which added 40 extra miles to our trip miles we had to pay for, even though we were already charged for the original plan. When I called the U-Haul 1-800 number, they confirmed he should not have changed the return location or charged us for it, but nothing was resolved. We received n

They go out of their way to help everyone. I had a great experience renting from them and would gladly do it again.

Do NOT rent a UHaul from this location. Less than 24 hrs to pick up the truck and they changed my pickup location to 50 miles away. After reserving the truck 6 days prior. That is just poor planning and poor communication on their part. I hope they handle their insurance business better than that. Too bad Google requires you to give at least 1 star.

Don't try to get a U-Haul here. I spent days trying to contact him to get a confirmation and he never returned my call. Very poor customer service.

Great guy who will go out o a limb to help you.i would recommend everyone to check him out for insurance and also if you need any U-haul equipment.
