Paul V. Wendelken: Allstate Insurance

It's been more than 4 months since my truck was hit by another vehicle. The $500 deductible is still possibly 3 months away according to the message on the phone today. Diminished value was turned down even though there was $18k worth of damage. Paul is no help, he laughingly said it was ironic that customers expect him to call when you can do everything from your phone. My experience so far is that the company and Paul are only interested in saving themselves the most money. No one from claims ever answers the phone, they will send a message to the app on your phone stating that "we are working on it" when they are really waiting for the customer to get tired of asking for what they've paid for. We had been with Paul for a little under a decade. We paid in full, on time every time and he did take care of us when we needed our insurance. However, we decided to look into other insurance companies this past year and found out that we were paying outrageous amounts for all of our vehicles. When we informed him, he didn't even lower a penny and instead sent us to collections for a small amount that we owed at the end after we switched. (We never received a paper or electronic bill!) We will never be returning to him, and we recommend that you spend your money elsewhere.

Price for homeowners insurance was increased about $500 when our closing date was moved up a week. Said the original quote was wrong.

Paul at Allstate saved me a TON of money, and it was as easy as making a phone call. I should have switched to Allstate for home and auto years ago!
