Ohio Department of Insurance

So this was my first step today on reaching out to anyone outside of my insurance company. I called Ohio Dept of Ins. Spoke to a lovely lady, and then to a nice man. I am exteremely overwhelmed with the past 3 months, of barely making any progress, so I didnt catch his name. He explained on how to put in a complaint against my insurance company. I am at the point of hiring a public adjustor as something else came up regarding hidden fire damage for a claim in November 2020. He directed me on how to look up information regarding Public Adjustors, so that I can make an informed decision. There really isnt too much that they can do until I put the complaint in. However, just the compassion I could hear in his voice, along with getting direction on what to do next, gave me some hope. I will u

I was very skeptical to call this place.. I called, was transferred pretty quickly but a nice lady, and then I spoke to Michael Hoffman.. He went above and beyond for me.. made everything so easy and he was super professional and friendly.. This guy deserves a raise.. Thanks Mike!!

I didn't have any hopes for them but I filed a complaint against my insurance for not filling out paperwork that they were required to do so. Within 72 hours my garbage insurance was calling me trying to make it right and got it resolved! Don't know what y'all did but it worked thanks!.

Wow. I had a lady call me today to ask questions about my claim and she was the most disrespectful person I’ve talked to in awhile. It was a 22min call and I never told her what all happened, or got any of my questions answered just interrupting me, cutting me off, speaking over me, and called me just mad? Why would someone call me mad with a attitude saying they have questions then cut me off the whole time saying I don’t know what I’m talking about or laws when I’m getting specific Ohio law codes? She was mis quoting Ohio law interrupting me with an attitude and just saying remarks to make me feel stupid like I know nothing.I see why the stars on this is so low the fact people like her work on the phone is nasty.
