They really where fast years ago. Anything you need takes a long time now. Also, I'm not sure how long, but they change your case manager. Just recently I had to call an old case manager to find out that my case was transferred out of the Buffalo office. Never received any notification and I'm pretty sure I'm not gonna be happy with the new one.
If your employer uses NYSIF for WCI, don't get hurt. I wouldn't wish this process upon my ex wife or worst enemy. Absolutely useless insurance if you need dental! So far I've only found 1 staff member who cares. My caseworker should work at the VA...
Great at paying on time and a pleasure to talk to the receptionist, but the agent that had my case refuses to answer the phone or return multiple phone calls.
