This company is unreliable. They advertise next day coverage. Forget about coverage, I applied and didn't even get a response for days. Almost a week later, and still no coverage. Meanwhile, my deadline is tomorrow. With their advice I will go elsewhere. Brilliant.

I’m genuinely baffled how this business has lasted 50 years. The website looks like it was built by a child—so outdated and dysfunctional that I had to call just to register. The woman who helped me made it feel like I was inconveniencing her by even calling. She said if I didn’t get a payment link, they’d call me… but no one ever did. There’s no secure online payment system, and when I followed up by email, her reply was dismissive—and then radio silence. Thankfully, I used SnapNsure instead. It took just a few minutes, the process was seamless, and I received all my documents instantly. They use The Hartford, a trusted name in insurance.

Only been waiting around a year for the adjuster to do anything. If it was resolved in August, why did we get a call in October denying the claim. It's obvious that we have a problem in establishing facts. I've spoken to an attorney about bad faith and will continue with this. The people left our unit unlocked for 4+ days without notification. Yet you see that as diligence. There were previous burglaries that we weren't informed of, no precautions taken to prevent further burglaries, yet you say they were diligent.

Went with minico for our storage facility insurance, big mistake. This is your typical scam insurance that will gladly take all your premiums but will find any reason to deny a claim. This happened to us, we’ve never missed or been late on any premium, and the first sign of trouble they bail on us. They denied a simple claim that should be paid. We damaged a car that was on our property, and they denied it on the basis it wasn’t here when they originally gave us the insurance. If you still want to go with this company after reading the plethora of bad reviews, more power to ya. Those that gave a good review clearly haven’t gone through a claim with them yet. Save yourself a lot of heartache, go elsewhere!

We had our storage units insured with Minico for three years. We never made a claim and paid all of our premiums on time. This year we get a notice that our insurance policy will not be renewed. They did not even want to hear what we had to say or give a chance to correct any issues. Very poor customer service. I would not recommend them to any business. Highly disappointed.
