Milber Health Insurance Agent

I don’t agree with some of the comments here. I found James with Milber Insurance & Accounting on yelp. It’s been great working with them--- James is knowledgeable, funny, and endlessly patient even when our kids scream in the background. We even invited him over to our house for dinner, and he came! They've helped us with family health insurance with Covered California, Medicare Supplements for my mother in-law, Group Health / employee benefits for my wife’s business, and they’re doing our taxes too now (James is a CPA). We've told lots of friends and family about them, because they've been so helpful. Give them a try, they research tax code top to bottom to help you find deductions. Also lowest prices in SF based on the quotes I got!

They helped us get a great employee benefit package, small group health, dental, vision, and life for our employees as well as some Medicare products for retirees. Great personal service, highly knowledgeable and very friendly and easy to work with.

I cannot stress enough how unprofessional James has been . He helped me get healthy insurance about a year ago and as soon as he signed me up and he got what he needed , he diapered. I have called , emailed numerous times to get some help renewing my health insurance without no response. Do yourself a favor and Dnt use this company. The other 2 good reviews on google he has , one is his wife who shares the same last name or sister and the other one is his brother in law. One of the worst experiences I have had with an agent of any sort .

Every time we need to deal with this company and James Milber in particular, I wonder how this person can stay in business. He is unavailable when you need him, provides only the barest minimum of information he can get away with, is belligerent and patronizing at the same time and does not have your best interest at heart. His incompetence cost my family countless hours of extra running around, including the time it took two months to process my new hire paperwork, or when my infant son almost went uninsured because he gave us the wrong information. I had to spend hours on the phone with my insurance, all the while everyone trying to reach him, to sort out his mess. I wish we would have any other option, but my employer works with this broker. This agency belongs to my brother and I own another business myself . My staff and I refer all of our clients to James who has consistently come through with great knowledge and care for our mutual clients. He has been doing this for almost 20 years and I would not trust my health insurance or important referrals to anyone else.
