Michael Leary Agency Farm Bureau Insurance

We just rejoined Farm Bureau. We were once a member with our farm in Florida and now we have a farm in Michigan and glad to be back with Farm Bureau.

We've done business with Farm Bureau since Jay was in charge, and will continue to do so with Michael. He is very knowledgeable and his staff is kind and attentive. I've had times where I would assume an answer to a question might take a couple of days, but I usually have an answer the same day. Highly recommend!

Since Michael Leary took over the Clare branch it has been a nightmare. Bought a 2008 Ford F250 to replace a 2006 Ford. Was told our 40 acre produce farm wasn't large enough to qualify for farm insurance. It had to be personal policy. Two weeks later he tells us that because we cancelled insurance on a 2004 Cadillac we are now high risk. We have no tickets or accidents. We were supposed have refunds and to this day have never received them. When we did have a claim, it took 7 and a half weeks to settle. They never return phone calls. They never have any answers. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY DOING BUSINESS WITH FARM BUREAU.

Slow slow slow progress on claims 2 weeks and still waiting. Took 7 weeks to process my claim. Now I don't know about you but I have insurance to keep.me out of a jam. I needed my truck and they could care less. Just as long as they get their money. Couldn't cancel the insurance on my truck until settled,so 2 months of insurance and no vehicle to drive during this time period. You make the call, me I will never do business with farm bureau again. Will ride a horse to store before going back to farm bureau insurance. Oh my the way main office said they would refund 2 months insurance, never did

They saved me several hundred dollars over my Auto owners policy. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
