Mendota Insurance

Whatever you do, do not get hit by somebody with this insurance, they will delay the processing of your claim. I got hit by one of their customers 42 days ago, and they still haven’t even determined liability on my claim and they keep telling me that they do not have enough evidence to put the other driver at fault whenever it is extremely clear that she is at fault. They are super shady and will never contact you first I have had to be the one to contact them every time to get updates on my claim which to be fair they have been no updates because they’re dragging this process on for as long as they possibly can. If you try to file a claim through this insurance make sure you have a lawyer.

You would almost think this company is a scam...if i could give no stars i would..they have been difficult to deal with over the last 2 years since my provider switched me to them from advance insurance, also a scam company. My bill has gone higher and higher and is now 400.00 when i have not been in any accidents or gotten any tickets. Switching to the general. Thanks for nothing.

My experience with Mendota Insurance has been terrible from start to finish. I was rear-ended by one of their insured drivers on December 30, 2024, in Wylie, TX. Liability was clear, but dealing with their claims process has been nothing but delays, lowball offers, and rude treatment from my adjuster, Ms. Deanna Thomas. I obtained two independent estimates from a certified VW dealership (Clay Cooley Volkswagen) showing over $4,048 in damage to my vehicle. Mendota only offered me $1,600 in cash, less than half of the actual documented repair cost, and told me I would have to either accept this low payout or get the car repaired at a shop they approve — with payment going directly to the shop instead of me, even though I own my car outright. Horrible experience the insurance agent I was dealing with had an attitude. Most of the time, like if it was my fault that I got hit by one of their customers. Like most of the other reviews, I didn't get reimbursed, completely for the rental. The supervisor I was able to speak with set that they paid what they were supposed to, even though the rental amount came up to over four thousand dollars, they only paid fifteen hundred not sure how that's covering rental

Shocker, another bad review. The most scammy, unprofessional and possibly ILLEGAL company I have ever dealt with. They refused to fully reimburse me for the rental car I had while my car was in the shop after THEIR client hit me. They still owe me almost $400. I filed a report with the better business bureau and encourage everyone else to do the same. It's super easy to do online. They need to be held accountable
