McGowan Insurance Group

I’m ending a 35+ relationship with McGowan. They have extremely poor customer service with the current group of agents and their services are over priced. I was able to save $4500 on a home owners policy, $1500 a year on a commercial property policy and will soon pull my entire commercial policy. If you have trouble getting in contact with your agent here just hand the policy to another agency and you will finally get a call back. I could not recommended them any less. Do yourself a favor and call someone else.

Was a thirty year customer. But after being bought out by McGowan I can’t get anyone to return a phone call, even after multiple requests.

We've been with Schultheis Insurance for our small business for almost 5 years. Lee and now Weston have both taken great care of us over the years. They are both very knowledgable and experienced about small business insurance. Tom and Cathy handle our medical, vision and dental insurance for our team. They go above and beyond in servicing us. Cathy is an amazing asset to the Schultheis team and makes my job so much easier having her support. This service has kept us loyal to them. Thanks!

Shockingly overpriced . . . shamelessly charging my elderly father well over double what any other area insurance company would charge for home and auto (and he had no claims for some years). He was a customer for over 70 years and until I recently helped him discover he was being fleeced. Protect your parents and buyer beware! I would not even deal with such a blatantly non-competitive provider. (P.S. See Josh Goben, Allstate for my very positive review of his service.) Update: this is my Dad's first day of being free from Schultheis insurance in 71 years (he says his first auto policy was at age 16 back in 1952) . . . he is now saving $3,754 per year for bundled auto, home and umbrella policy with Allstate. I am so disappointed to see what he was being charged.
