The service from this agency was so poor that I feel compelled to write this review. I was trying to renew homeowners insurance for my 100-year-old father who had been a client of this agency for years. Since the insurer, Adirondack, was going out of business at the end of 2024 and his policy expired in October, I began the process with the agency of looking for a replacement homeowners policy. Surprisingly, the agent that my father dealt with for years left the agency several weeks after we first contacted them. We were not notified the agent had left the company, despite the fact my father had worked with her for years. I found out by accident when I called her phone extension and I heard the voice message that she had left and no messages should be left for her. This should have b

Called for a quote on a Thursday and John said he would call me back the next day (Friday) never heard from him. One week later I called & left him a message regarding said quote, again, no call back. Called again the following day & finally spoke to John, he rambles off a quote from 2 different Insurance agencies (which was the 2 he mentioned from the 1st day I spoke with him) never “look around” like he said he would. Horrible agency, no follows ups even for potential customers & unprofessional.

I've been a client of MVR for a long time and John and ESPECIALLY Sylvia are the BEST. They have given advice and unsolicited opportunities for savings with my coverages on a regular basis and have never steered me wrong. I'm never on hold and they respond within hours for every request and are ALWAYS friendly and get the job done! I cannot recommend them enough.
