Matthew Valcich: Allstate Insurance

I’ve been with Matthew Valcich and Allstate for many years insuring my business. Anytime I have ever had a question with any of my business vehicles Matthew has returned with a solution within hours if not sooner. Even throughout a busy day Matthew has at least touched base with me only to get back later with additional information allowing for a pleasant experience. During the January 9, 2024 Winter Storm to hit the east coast my business location was flooded which caused some water damage to the wood flooring base to my service truck. After logging this experience with photos, time line, Matthew was quick to offer instructions on how to get things moving for repairs too include follow ups making sure I was taken care of. Be very careful of this agent. He completely screwed me over by either not knowing what he was doing or by being deceptive or both. He assured me, on multiple occasions, in no uncertain terms, that Allstate provided a type of coverage that was critical for me to switch my insurance after about 37 years with another insurer. In truth, Allstate did not provide that coverage and I cannot get my prior policies back. Any seasoned insurance agent had to know what basic coverage his company provides. He promised me he would make this right, would find me comparable coverage and he would fix it so I did not have to do so. He then completely abandoned me. He failed to do others things also including advising me correctly. A complaint with the Maryland Insurance Administration will be forthcoming.

My auto insurance has been handled by Matthew Valcich for years, and I cannot express how much I appreciate his service and responsiveness. Whether I have needed his help regarding a new car purchase, an accident, a change to my policy, or just a stupid question, he always responds immediately, professionally, and with courtesy and kindness. That is a RARE combination these days and I am so grateful for his amazing service!
