I would not wish this on my worse enemy! The company has been awful to deal With! I haven't had a minute to grieve my mother!! First they spell my name COMPLETELY wrong! I'd say my name Is pretty basic right?! Then they mail a check instead of using the direct deposit form that I provided then I asked them to void the check and direct deposit it so then they needed proof of the bank account being mine so I had to send them a bank statement. Today they tried to deposit to my bank and added seven zeros to the beginning of my account number. Therefore, my bank rejected said deposit! I called the insurance company and they said that's just how their computer has to do it so therefore they will have to mail me another paper check after the funds are returned from the bank and then a new check i

This is the worse insurance company I have ever had to deal with. My mother had a policy, paid on it for the better part of 20 years . Now that she has expired and I need to policy information, these people will not tell me the amount of her policy. Every person I have spoken to has been very uncooperative. How can families know how to plan if they don’t know how much money is available. I was told to contact corporate in writing and they will mail me the policy information. I dont have weeks to wait for mailings back and forth with them. I’m so confused. If they can verify me a the beneficiary what’s the big secret. My family and I are very disappointed. I don’t recommend Lumico to anyone and they will not be getting any more of my family’s business. This was a distressing experience. Aft

Garbage Customer Service.. One would think they would have compassion during a family’s time of need. NO not this company.. 6 different phone calls and STILL no results. Everything was done on my end… just for them NOT to have handled ANYTHING thus far.

Only giving 1 star because I have to in order to write a review. My father has been passed for almost a month, he is still in holding at his funeral home. His northern family haven't been able to have his funeral because this company has not released his life insurance money. $15,000 just enough to take care of the funeral home here and to fly him to his destination to have his services and burial. Poor customer service. They are supposed to be here for us in this time, but no his family has to wait

Horrible, scam company. Just watch the episode of Judge Judy where they would not pay family on policy. The Judge herself called company and they gave her the run around and unsatisfactory answer. Judge Judy herself recommended filing civil suit against Lumico. What kind of company uses a PO Box number for correspondence? A big red flag!
