This is the worst healthcare provider anyone could have. My autistic son has been receiving speech therapy for two years and needs it, but they simply denied it. They also denied my son's medication. I advise you never to use this provider; they are the worst.
member services department has the worse customer service. They do not read notes to understand the reason for your call even if you tell them it is an issue you’ve been dealing with for a while. Half the time the reps do not submit notes in the system to assist another rep should they get your call. The left doesn’t understand what the right hand is doing. The knowledge base to resolve issues isn’t there. It is a waste of time dealing with them or even the pharmacy department. They lack empathy and customer care in resolving and fixing issues. They misroute your calls all the time which causes you to have to start over again. This is the worse health care!!!
The absolute most annoying company. I am not a customer nor would I ever be. They continuously call my cell phone and leave the same message over and over again. Sometimes multiple times in a row. I have asked repeatedly for them to remove my number from their call list. Horrible company. There is an “absolute” reason why they have a terrible rating. If I could I would give them zero stars.
Run as fast as you can away from using this plan. Please use a plan with a little more common sense and dignity. Last year my daughter's prescription was covered by them, with out notice the drug was dropped this year. When we tried to appeal their denial of coverage they stated we had not tried any other drugs on their preferred list. We told them she tried other's last year before being moved to the one she was on, and as she did not do well on the other I was not willing to try her on anything else. They really don't care, they want to use her as a guinea pig. The funny thing is the only 2 medications they want to cover are both brand name drugs, the one she is on is a generic. First of all if I could give zero starts and still review that's exactly what I would do. My 10 year old is epileptic. It is a fight to get her medications. Case in point she will be out of her Onfi (seizure med) by 11am tomorrow morning. So I called the pharmacy to get it refilled. Was told insurance was denying it because they don't cover it. They have covered it for months now (not without a fight). Was told they needed a prior authorization. So I ask if they could approve a 7 day prescription so the Dr would have time to get the prior authorization in. Was told they would cover 3 days. I explained the bottles can no longer be broken open. That it only comes in a 7 day supply. Was told that they could give me the smallest bottle they had.
