We had been with LandesBlosch for 5 years and 10 months, and while we found them to be friendly and helpful with initially setting up our account etc, we did not feel that they were working on our behalf to better serve us overtime. No, instead they collect their commission checks - while continuously raising rates for even crappier policy exclusions and coverages. While agents may not be directly involved with claims, processing and underwriting pricing, it doesn't negate the fact that you're still actively involved peddling shoddy product for Mercury that "DOES NOT" deliver quality, nor customer satisfaction to your clients. Denying claims & finding out that our policy was written wrong. I was asked why I put the wrong information on my application. However, I've never completed an application for insurance before, so I find this question concerning. As to be expected, now they're wanting to drastically increase our rates which is already 2xs higher than it was last year. This agency is the worst. They do NOT work for you. Think of them as your companies HR department. Definitely would not recommend, but I do have a one finger wave for them. Guess which one it is!

Our family has insurance with Guy for years (family friend). We started about 14 years ago with house and car insurance. After a few years I realized that I was listed as married but my husband as single. This makes a difference in the price of coverage. So I moved my house and car insurance but I left our boat because they had always carried the boat insurance for my father in law for the same boat.
