Kaplansky Insurance - Milford Branch

This year was our first year with Kaplansky after Russo closed. The commmunication has been terrible. We were not notified that our auto insurance was going to be changed to another company. We only found out when we received a welcome notice from a new insurance company. When i reached out to inquire my email went unsnwered and when i finally spoke with someone she told me it was because it came from a work email address...althought i am really not sure why that mattered. She told me we should have been notified by mail (received that notice in the mail a few days after this conversation) and when I told her the new cost was much higher and asked if she could shop other companies to see if there was a better option she seemed annoyed that I was questioning that it was the best option. S

Horrible communication. Horrible follow through and the receptionist is very rude. I talked to someone end of November to send in my policy info for my mortgage company and apparently did not do to that as I got another letter. This is a huge pain for me to chase down my agent. Another issue my car insurance: I received a LETTER (no email and no call) that they are dropping Safety Insurance as a carrier. This went to my old address which is insane as I just talked to someone before this to change to my new address. I was a former Russo client and never dealt with this. I'm extremely frustrated as I feel like it's a black hole over there and getting passed around from agent to agent.

I can't believe how inept this company is. I asked to cancel insurance on one our 4 cars. I just found out they canceled the wrong car and my 17 year old has been driving around uninsured for the last 2 months. And now I owe the registry $100 in fines. Communication is terrible - they don't return calls or e-mails, and when you show up in person for help, they still manage to screw it up. Stay away.

She also suggested I add on apartment insurance which I have been meaning to do. We communicated primarily through email and everything was done in less than 24 hrs. there customer service is great here. i can do everything over email and they respond very fast they save me time and that is very important to me with my busy schedule. i deal with christine and she has always been there to help me and walk me through any questions or problems i might have i cannot recommend them enough.
