J.R. Tolver - State Farm Insurance Agent

I joined this agency when Dick Hess owned it 30 years ago. Then it was a very customer service oriented 5 star business. They had people who answered the phones and responded to your needs in a timely manner. Since JR Tolver took over, it is just the opposite. I have left 8 messages this week. Faith, the front office person, finally called me back yesterday and said their phones had been down. I asked her to send me the declarations page for my auto insurance and she instead sent me the wallet size card. I have left 4 more messages today and can't get anyone to pick up the phone. State Farm has gone completely down hill. Unfortunate.

Hands down the worst insurance agent I have worked with. He never responds to emails and his assistants are incompetent. Mr. Tolver has run his business into the ground.

J.R. and his team have completely changed my opinion on insurance agents. Not only did they offer the most competitive rates around, but they really took the time to explain each product in detail. Just as it is important to have insurance, it is important to understand what you are covered for. I never felt like I was 'oversold' with J.R., rather I felt that I was working with a close friend who truly had my best interest at heart. Talk about a good neighbor... (: I'd recommend J.R. and his team to anyone!

J.R. and his team helped me secure great rates for both my vehicles, life and renter's insurance. Now that I'm ready to purchase a 3rd vehicle for my last teen driver I'll be going back to his agency. Thanks for such a great experience.

Found out I needed to get Limited Liability Insurance for my new business and Jr Tolver and his team took care of me and walked me through the process. I didn't even know all that I needed but they patiently showed me how it all worked. Their professionalism and welcoming personalities made it a great experience. I'll definitely be coming back for any insurance needs!
