Jo Ann Alvarez - State Farm Insurance Agent

Worst experience ever Poor Service. Please dont use this Agent: Jo Ann Alvarez. The representative Maribel Reyes was arrogant, unproffesional and crass. I called to get a break down of my car insurance because I wanted to know why they were taking $267 from my checking account since my regular monthly payment is $136. She mentioned the bill was mailed to you. You own that amount. I was expecting a courtesy call as a 9 years customer just to notify me the will charge me the double amount to reinstate my policy. Iam disgusted with the treatment I receive from this Agent. They dont care the customers and they tell lies on every single call. State farm is not a good company to do get insurance with. No benefit to keep my insurance with them. They were reasonable but only for the first bill aft

Failed to respond to repeated requests to fix errors. For over SEVEN YEARS has failed to remove husband's ex-wife's name from our policy, and mistakenly lists his ex-wife's birthday for mine (so I receive birthday notices, etc. indicating I'm turning 40 and commensurate rate increases, when I'm years younger and my birthday is 6 months away!). We finally switched to a better agent (MORE coverage for 38% LESS!) and agent faxed a cancellation, but JoAnn failed to cancel the policy and continued to deduct premiums for 3 months!!! POOR SERVICE all the way around!!!

Horrible customer service. I tried repeatedly to contact someone about my upcoming renewal and no one ever called me back or emailed me. If they can't handle simple stuff like this, how will they handle a claim? Steer clear of this agency, 2nd rate at best.
