JD Fulwiler & Co. Insurance, Inc.

I have been using this company for more than 30 years and I thought part of their service value was they would shop around for the best insurance rates for their loyal customers. I learned after shopping around myself that they are not offering that kind of value as part of their service differentiation. When I asked about why I was paying double the auto premium than the going rate I learned through my own shopping around they told me they do not shop for better coverage unless you ask the to. I’m speechless. What kind of service is that?

I was a loyal customer with them for 13 years. However, their performance has significantly deteriorated over the past year. Despite the documented evidence of their shortcomings, they refuse to acknowledge their mistakes and resort to lying. I regret referring other business owners to them and am now reaching out to all of them and any other public forum I can find for other small business owners to share my experience and caution them against being lured into this sheer incompetence. I have been a customer of JD Fulwiler for over 20 years. I've always received incredible service and value. Recently, the broker I have always worked with retired at I started working with Autumn Swartout. She has done an incredible job with our account. I highly recommend her!

Unfortunately my home owners insurance policy was set up incorrectly and when an event happened they refused to backdate a corrected policy to cover the event costing nearly $20,000. It was confirmed the agent that set up the policy was let go for setting up policies incorrectly. Definitely very sad, frustrating and eye opening event.
