Independent Health medical director has no concern for any participants who have comorbities. If people die, they make out better. I recall a time, 20 yrs or so ago when Independent Health was insurance that was sought after with great coverage at a decent cost.

Don’t bother doing their “appointment surveys” that they email you after seeing a specialist or doctor. They are pointless. I raised very real concerns and IHA just ignored it. They side with doctor no matter how much the patient is harmed. Just report the doctor to the state

I have been a patient at Roswell for many years, and they found cancer where other dermatologists I had missed. I went to Roswell, the cancer specialists, because my previous dermatologist had misdiagnosed a more serious cancer. Now I am being told by Independent Health that I can no longer be a patient at Roswell. My husband and I am looking for another insurance carrier now. We have had Independent Health for many years, but I cannot lose my doctor at Roswell. We are willing to pay higher prices and go somewhere else for insurance. It is a matter of life and death.

The Customer service at IH is outstanding. It is disappointing that roswell would not sign a contract for 2026. They are a great facility and IH is a # 1 company. Hoping that in 2027 they can come to a mutual agreement.

Many things I can say, but I will keep it short and to the point. BIG MISTAKE not giving my wife and me access to Roswell Park as of January 1,2026. They saved my wife's life and we do not want to go elsewhere. Many people are furious that $$$ is the priority and not the member. I don't see a 5 star rating in Independent Health's future. We hope that this terrible situation can be resolved and we all can have access to Roswell Park once again in the near future.
